What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that uses guided relaxation and focused attention to help individuals access a heightened state of awareness. In this state, the mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions, allowing for behavioral and emotional changes.
How many sessions do I need?
Most clients can overcome habitual behaviour and resolve certain issues after just one session, others may need up to four treatments (very occasionally more) for deeper, long-lasting change. The number of sessions depends on the individual and the complexity of the issue. We can discuss this in the consultation.
What Does Hypnosis Feel Like?
A deep state of relaxation, similar to daydreaming.
A heightened focus on the therapist’s words and imagery.
Some people feel light or floaty, while others feel heavy and deeply grounded.
You are always in control and can wake up or move if needed.
Hypnotherapy is a safe and flexible approach where the client remains in control. The relaxed state helps address various issues, and while most concerns may be resolved in one session, others might need further treatments for lasting results.
